LOOK, A RESUME!

Creative Director
Carmichael Lynch

2016-Present

I currently work as a Creative Director for Carmichael Lynch. I help lead the business on Jack Link’s Jerky and 76 Gasoline. I get to work with many great and clever young people, and enjoy boring them with random life stories. We build large, interesting campaigns from television down to tweets and even custom sweatpants.

Examples:
Workin' Out With Sasquatch
Lorissa's Kitchen
The Great Northern

Defies Timelines

As a freelance business, I had a roster of my own clients, and also worked with agencies North, Victors & Spoils, SapientNitro, Carmichael Lynch and several others. I worked on a wide variety of pitches, packaging, apps, logos, interfaces, “micro sites”, “portals”, and “experiences”. Many of these projects can not be displayed here for confidentiality reasons.

North Peak Beer

Executive Creative Director
Modern Climate

2011-2013

Modern Climate is a technology-infused advertising agency. At Modern Climate, I was a part of the agency’s leadership team, and led several projects that helped us win an Ad Age Small Agency of the Year award in 2012. Some highlights from my time at Modern Climate:

I worked closely with UnitedHeatlhcare’s innovation group to create unique digital prototypes and consumer products, including the Appy Award-winning UnitedHealthcare app.

I led the redesign of JambaJuice.com. Apart from being a major design overhaul, the site was also a major technological overhaul. We incorporated CMS personalization, social media integration and a blend of server and client-side responsive layout solutions. The site was named Sitecore Site of the Year in 2013.

I also helped Thermo King create a major launch campaign for their first platform redesign in over a decade. The launch campaign featured a mix of traditional advertising and collateral, product website, documentary-style videos, and custom-built iPad sales tools. The launch campaign was exceptionally well-received, and led to difficulties in keeping up with demand.

Interactive Creative Director
Martin Williams

2007-2010

At Martin Williams I helped create advertising for Cellular South, Pfizer, Marvin Windows, Payless Shoes, Cargill, Syngenta, and Raymond James.

I also designed a mixed-reality video game to educate farmers about herbicides. I made an iPad app that explained everything you'd want to know about horse food, including the fact that horse food is called feed. I designed a 3D-rendered vacuum cleaner tour,  and invented a dynamically-edited video christmas card.

Design Director
Hunt Adkins

2005-2007

At Hunt Adkins I worked to raise the visibility of the design department by making a bunch of cool stuff. I also mentored younger designers and created new processes for selling design.
